Default Worst Remixes Ever

What are the worst remixes you have ever heard? My vote goes to

Madonna - American Pie, originally done by Donn Mclean
She totally just butchered that song...

and

Groove Coverage - Poison, originally done by Alice Cooper. Trying to take a slow-type rock song and turn it into a fast paced dance/techno song....uh....NO.

The majority of hip hop or hip pop is all remixed.

I'll have to think of some more specific ones :P

Since dance music turns my stomach anyways, I don't care how something gets remixed. Now, bad covers, that is a totally different ball game.

The Lemonheads' "Mrs. Robinson" = good cover, kept a similar groove and emotion, but livened up an old 60'* song.

The Ataris' "The Boys of Summer" = bad cover! very poor interpretation of an emotional, memory provoking song done by a half-wit garage band.

The commerce faculty at the University of Manitoba puts on a huge Halloween party every year with like 5000 people and some pretty big name Can. bands. Anyway I knew that everybody would look the same (cops, witches etc) so I had to get a costume that stood out. So I went as a care bear and pretty much got best costume award. The picture is of me at a Downtown Winnipeg gas station fillling up, the look on the gas attendents face was priceless.
