I just went with Bugatti and guessed Italian. Have I just been pooped on by the prevailing overlords of cross-border naming? I don't know if what I've just written makes sense. So, is Bugatti an Italian name?
And to stay on topic, maybe: The Veyron'* W16 engine is very expensive. I've heard a long time ago that Bugatti lost money when making each Veyron.

hennessey venom 1000 tested by road and track against the veyron
veyron can jump of the line but when you can chase down and whoop a veyron, well that says it all
