The second pic is the sawmill across the street.
If you look at the top of the first photo you can see a few logging trucks lined up waiting to be weighed. I wonder how many loads are laying in the log yard?

Wow...pretty impressive!

I must speak up here, yes I am very proud of PDad, he has worked very hard to get where he is in the company (Canfor). However, I must say I HATE CANFOR!!!!!! They are treating poor PDad terribly. He works very hard for the company and he get nothing for his hard work. They expect him to be on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week. When we went to Vernon for spring break, we were not home 15 minutes and they called him to come in. There was a fire, and of course, once again, PDad had to go in. Not only had he driven all day, he stayed at work until 7:30 the next morning!!!!
PDad is a very hard worker, he takes pride in everything he does, and he is one of the most intellegent men I know, yet Canfor takes him for granted. They turn to him whenever there is a problem and they expect him to solve it, whether or not it involves his department or not.
If it was not for PDad that place would completely fall apart!!!

Sorry Honey, but I had to say something, it is not right they way they treat you.
