7 pounds in one week is water. On a hard work out day I would put on 4 or 5 pounds. If I could make a suggestion. concentrate on your pecks, lats, and delts. The arms will follow along and grow. This will give you more of a V

I don't think I gained 7 pounds in water weight since it doesn't fluctuate through the day. If you look at the pics you can see my arms, abs, and even my chest look better. I hate the fact though that to get a good chest you have to do so much arm stuff too LOL.

When you work out the muscle swells up to heal. That'* the water. If you stop exercising the swelling goes down and the water goes away. 7 pounds is only 7 bottles of water, it'* really not that much. I drink between 1 and 1.5 gals of water a day. If I don't drink much my weight drops.

Well, the weights are pre-workout after a rest day. Not too much water weight LOL. Either way though that'* still 7lbs heavier than I was. In the 2 months I've been here I've gained 23lbs total so far. My goal is 150 minimum and hopefully to hit 160-165 by the time we get out of here.

Can you get your BMI checked there? That'* what you want to watch. I worked up to 195 and found my BMI to be high, I was big, the first picture I posted. I then went on a very low fat diet. I dropped down to 175 with the same lean mass, second picture. Much more definition. So the big question should really be. Do you want to be big, or cut.

For us genetically lucky I have this workout.

Take it easy at first, then do more repetitions as you become more proficient and build stamina.
Always consult your doctor before starting any exercise program!
Have a Beer, then SCROLL DOWN.............

I'm going for cut. I eat chicken and rice for dinner. Bacon, boiled eggs, and a bagel for breakfast. Then right before sleep I have a pack of pop tarts. For supplements I'm taking Whey protein, casein protein, creatine, glutamine, and a multivitamin. 2 whey shakes a day with one casein shake a day.

Drink one serving of protein just before you go to bed. Helps you sleep, also provides your body with protein to burn as you sleep instead of burning your muscle. Your body needs protein wen it sleeps, it wont burn fat.

That'* what the Casein is for. It'* a slow digesting protein, as opposed to the whey protein which digests fast.
