Winters finally HERE!
No toque, how cold was it then?
Very nice variety catch to say the least! Are the striped ones on right side saugers?

Toques are for members of the "eh team". We wear hats down here!
That'* a nice pull for one day out on the lake, and you don't even have to worry about keeping them on ice!
@Mike, that'* the reason I haven't pulled it out. I keep thinking, as soon as I do we are going to have a blizzard.

It was mid 20'* that day. My buddy Tim is a touch more rugged and "touched" than I am, you hardly see a hat on him.
The fish on the right with stripes are lake perch except the bottom one. That is a full grown grandaddy shiner. A "minnow" bait fish that someone probably chucked in the lake after fishing long ago. I have never seen one grow to that size. Yes, I ate him just to see what he tasted like.

It'* not going to be above freezing until next week. Temperatures have been hanging in the single digits and teens, and my poor GP can barely turn itself over in the morning. (Unless my new phone charger was causing a parasitic drain.)
I was smart enough to keep the new battery that I put in the Bonneville, but not smart enough to buy a trickle charger for it.

Nope, It went into a pot with some of the other perch for chowder. I have a rule about ice fishing, no mercy. Unless a fish is small enough to make it worthless to filet, it goes on the ice to chill. That includes sunfish. Here'* a huge one that gave some thick short fillets:
