Default Winter to-do list

It seems this thread comes up every year around this time.

What are your plans for your car this late fall/winter?

If you have mods planned, let'* hear it
If you have normal maintenance, let'* hear it
If you want to toss ideas around, let'* hear it

I have a few electrical projects lined up. One is to light up my rear reflector bar, the other is to replace the lights in my gauge cluster, and a few other little tricks while I'm in there

Changed my tires, need to change my hood back to the winter hood. Change all the fluids, and change to my winter tune.

The salt destroyed mine in half a winter, I hate getting things ready for winter then doing the little things that come up, even in a garage with a good little plug in heater sucks

if you get the lights in the cluster replaced please take pics and do a writeup

I will try my best. I usually think of doing a write-up just about the time I'm finishing a project. I'll try to think ahead

Suck some seafoam into the top end. Your exhaust leak will find you.

Replace my cradle mounts (Making own out of polyurethane)
Replace the rear left transmount
Change Transfluid
Change Valve cover gaskets
Make a custom painted Valve Covers the front one having the C.I.'* of the 3.8(I believe 231)
Install my 12" Sub
Install my series 80 with turn downs
Find out why my car is dumping gas (340 miles a tank)
Customize my wheels (Antique effect)
Paint my calipers and the fins on my drums
Front Steel Brake lines
Loosen up the caliper slider bushings (maybe way I'm getting bad mileage)
New Tires
New driver seat
Replace two of my rims (from the accident)
Seal the leak to my trunk from the spoiler

I'm sure I will come up with more.

Find out why my car is dumping gas (340 miles a tank) - thats a good tank for me

Loosen up the caliper slider bushings (maybe way I'm getting bad mileage) - There is a way to loosen them? I thought the bolts held the pins on and then those slide inside the caliper to allow movement

you plan on getting this all done for winter?

oh and plan on doing this while freezing myself. My slider bolts are just shafts that sit in this rubber gromet. I'm going to widen the gromet a bit
