I have a license through MSDNAA. I haven't installed it yet. I was gonna do a dual boot of that with my current XP system.

I just put in for it. I bought a new computer two months ago and it came with a free upgrade (though I had to pay shipping). I'm gonna get the "Pro" version and I hope its worth it.

My brother has had it for a month or so. He seems to like it; has been waiting for the actual release date in hope that more drivers are released at that time. He hasn't been able to use his printer and his sound card is only supported in stereo, not 5.1 I havent asked him about it lately though.

it would be cool if my sound card software would work with it.

Well vista supposedly has MORE driver compatibility than Windows XP. Supposedly everything XP has and much much more.

As far as buying it goes, currently I can only run basic on my laptop because it only has 128 mb dedicated memory card. And only basic for my desktop until i upgrade the video card. SOO, i'm just gonna stick with windows xp most likely until i upgrade my computers. I'm in no real rush. I'll probably get it after they've released the first service pack. New operating systems have enough bugs as it is. I've heard this one is different, but hell, XP works for me, so why worry right now when all it will do is use more memory, which i already don't have enough of, and slow down my computer overall?

Yeah. we'll see.
