I know I'm late to this thread. Seems like everyone else covered all the bases but one.

If you suspect a Windows update ruined things, you can always view the list of installed updates (Control Panel > Windows Update). If you see a wireless driver update, try to remove it.

Also, if you haven't installed Service Pack 2, do that. I've noticed that it sometimes won't automatically install.

I rolled the wireless driver back, no luck, uninstalled the driver and reinstalled, no luck, and service pack2 is installed.

Time to let go Dan, Save your Pics, Docs, Bookmarks, Address Book, and fdisk.

That is the plan. I'm sure I'll get that on Wednesday. That will be the first chance I'll have.
