Just because your in a hurry is no reason to put everyone else at risk. Your job is to drive, that is all.

Some people honestly dont care about the others around them on the road, and it would appear they dont even care about their own life.

Unfortunately, that is the truth.

Powerful video for sure. I've calmed down my driving habits a lot in the past 4 years.

Although they were staged, still alot more visualy compelling than the carnage of a video game. And that only shows one faction of excessive speed (reaction time). Our cars aren't million dollar sports sedans or F1 racecars. They are not even engineered to safely respond to unmodded top speeds. If You want to make believe your a supernatural freak that doesn't need training or the right equipment, at least take it to an oval track and just take out yourself. I have 0 tolerance for this teenage mentality, and hormonally charged episodal threads here on this Forum. If you want to do stupid things, post it to youtube. Doing it here can get you banned. My R/T to hit the Ban button is very quick.

Pardon the off topic comment, but this is precisely why this place is becoming my home forum, after having 5000+ posts on w-body.com.

That was a sobering reminder, and I hope someone who sees it and recognizes their own bad behaviors changes the way they drive.

8 years ago this week, my best friend was stopped at a red light. When the light turned green, she started into the intersection, and a woman who later said she deliberately decided to run the red light because she was in a hurry, rammed into my friend'* car. Jeep vs Audi -- my friend died so quickly they couldn't even keep her vitals up long enough to harvest her organs. The other woman was 21, a nanny, and had a 2 year old and a 5 year old in her car. Luckily, none of the kids were hurt, but that doesn't change the fact that she made an extremely stupid mistake and killed someone for no reason while endangering the lives she was supposed to be caring for.

The Legion in Montana puts a white cross on a red post at the site of every highway fatality. It'* hard not to check yourself when you see them, especially the ones with multiple crosses on the same post.
