No you don't need to pull it but it'* probably easier if you did. Talk to Boosty. He can pull an engine in 2 hours with the right tools.
An engine puller, leveler and engine stand make it super simple. All should cost about $300.
If not you will need to drop your subframe or cut a hole in your fender well.
Plus it'* so much easier to work on with it on an engine stand.

HARBOR FREIGHT TOOLS ARE CHEAP AND GARBAGE.
sorry for the caps but i want everyone to know that everything i bought from them either broke in a week or did not do the job it was made for...
id radther buy black & decker.

Iv been buying HF tools for over 5 years now. Iv only broke 1 tool (1).
A Breaker bar. and that was with a 3 foot pipe on the end of it.
Yea if you buy the $10 30pease socket set, then yes it crap. but there higher end stuff thats still cheaper is good quality for the price.
AND... most of all there hand tool have a lift time warranty on it

air tools should allow me to pull the sc, LIM, etc in 15 minutes tops. Putting it back on requires some patience since I intend to do this by hand.
here is my list....anything I'm forgetting or should be avoiding?
I want to make sure I have everything to take on a possible header install, rocker install, cam install, etc....

I like Harbor freight.... some of the stuff is really cheap... But they do have decent stuff if you know what to look for.. I have to force myself to leave the store... If I don't I'll have a trunk full of stuff...
I also Like Craftsman, Kobalt, Husky, Stanley...

If your using the Air ratchet or Grinder or something that uses a lot of air. a 13gal tank does not last long. it has to re fill like every 2min
