Default Why is Hans Excited?

I'm making the 300 mile trip to harborfreight this weekend.

I'm thinking...ratcheting wrenches, air compressor, spring compressor, 1/2 inch impact wrench, jackstands....hmm what else do I need to remove the harmonic balancer....and replace valvesprings in a bonneville?

mine is less than 1.7 miles away. Nothing to be super excited over, imo.

well I need to go to that town anyway...just an excuse to check out the harbor frieght. they really need one here...we have lowes, sears, home depot, ace hardware, etc etc but no harborfreight.

I love cheap tools (that dont break)

anything else I should pick up for tearing appart my motor? stuff that makes the job easier?

ok, i thought you were going 300 miles just for harbor freight.

but i would still check out their website. cuz i have foumd things on the site cheaper than the store. so i had to bring them a print out if the item, so they could change the price.

I got a $3 pair of plug wire removers just because. What a waste of $3. These things are so damn cheap they bent trying to pull my wires off.

I need to go back though and get a security bit set. IDK why GM made the IAC and MAF sensor on my TB with security torx screws.

If you're planning on removing the harmonic balancer you must be thinking CAM

Get an engine stand and engine puller while you're at it.
