i work at pepboys and since the first large jump in prices gas quality has decreased and many people come in with fuel related issues
saying things like you are saying (fuel economy) and fuel pumps, fuel filters and injectors have been comeing in more now then before these high prices

let do some math:
42 gallons per barrel
65 dollars per barrel

so 1.55 per gallon.

screw the barrel price I just paid OVER a dollar PER gallon due to state taxes and gas station mark ups.

to get the truth out here its actually a international group called OPEC that sets price per barrel not "terrorists from the middle east" so freeing iraq does mean we get oil straight from them no no no all crude oil is priced by barrel before its even exported from the country hell its priced before it leaves the refinery thats the truth behind the pricing and the more u drive the more u pay the reason they are raising prices to get people to buy newer hondas and cars with ULEV (ultra low emissions vehicle) or LEV (low emissions vehicle) i know that by 2007 all new cars will be ULEV or LEV due to EPA standards

ultra low emissions doesn't fix efficency issues which the majority of the "new" car market faces.

Me thinks I need a little 4cyl that gets 40mpg otherwise I'll have to ride my bike here shortly... Just so you know, 80'* V8'* SUCK, they are slow AND get shitty gas mileage!
