Not sure about how well a */c truck runs but the two turbo diesels (Fords) in my driveway are excellent. Doesn't really take any time at all to engage the turbo

I would pull both your fords, with my Silverado !!!

The Charger on the 5.3 if done right will give it some pep !!

If your going to pull, the SC will be a big help. Tons of torque.

Well living at 6k physical altitude some sort of boost is the only way for a truck up here to get out of its own way lol I drove a rental 2010 silverado 1500 and it had almost no balls it is sad

Love my Ram 3500 turbo'ed Cummins. I have read a great deal of opinion that states boost helps in high alttitudes whichever end of the boost fence you want to sit. And that gas works better than diesel.

Gas seems to be preferred up here although there is a die hard diesel freaks like the kid with a cummins in an el camino. I am really leaning towards the truck now that I have gotten more information on its life and such. For those of u that r not familiar with what 6k altitude will do to ur hp I can tach up to 2k and launch without spin up here but I tried to launch the same way back home at 2k altitude it was a smoke show and a 2.55 60'.

So if I can get the money scraped up by friday I will prolly have a truck in my name.

long story short the sc truck is gone now i waited too long. I can get a 99 silverado stock with 158K. was used as a commuter truck 100+ miles round trip. 2 smallish wrecks but professionally fixed.he will let me get it for 5300. I am to the point where I need a truck and this is just about 700 out of my comfort level but alot better then taking a loan for a more pricey truck and stretch my pay out more then I like. As for the insurance for full coverage it would be 155 more a month and only 15 over 6 months for liability. would you guys jump on it or let it pass. As one final note it already has tint so that is 250 savings because i cant drive with out tint it hurts my eyes
