Lounge For casual talk about things unrelated to General Motors. In other words, off-topic stuff. And anything else that does not fit Section Description.

Why did you chose your screenname?

AD - People have been calling me AD for short since high school which is the first two letters on my first name, Adonis.

Bear - Also since high school girls would call me teddy bear.

So I put them together & dropped the teddy, ( wish the girls in hs would have.. ) & got AD Bear..............

Years ago I was big into the computer game Warcraft 2. One of the leaders of the bad guys was Zuluhead the Whacked. I used to say "That'* whack!" all the time, so I figured it fit as a sn. I've used it ever since and I've never had a situation where it'* already been taken...makes it convenient

Mine'* fairly obvious. SingsCountry (self explanatory) 1967 (birthdate) It was a screenname I used for <cough>internetdating<cough> and I figured I could remember it better than a new one.

I created it in the first place to weed out the idiots. Those who don't bother to read profiles could tell a little bit about me from my screenname. The screening process didn't work. They were still idiots. Browsing BC now consumes the time I used to waste browsing the "rarely truthful" profiles of singles in my area.

I've moved on to better forums and have gone back to meeting people "the old fashioned way".
