Why is my dog so fascinated by the smell of supercharger oil (he prefers used)?

I cracked open my next SC for the Zilla last night, and Bo perked RIGHT UP. Oh, sweet smelling goodness of animal-fat based oil, gimme a little taste!

I try to get my brother'* dog to smell beer, but he RUNS AWAY when I bring the bottle towards his face.

He doesn't mount the SC does he?
