Everyone on the internet talks their car up, show up and race with the GP crowd, bring all the fast Bonnevilles, and prove timeslips in front of lots of people, same goes for them.

Can we please not start this kind of thread again? All it does is bring in the flamers from the CGP. I personally do not have to list all my mods, nor do I have to put up with all the crap that they spit out of their childish mouths. I do run a 13.99. I will be getting some pics as soon as I can afford to get to the track again (unemployed computer guru) and I will SCAN my track slip and post it here. I have dumped over $3000 into my present engine and just started the build on a new L67 mill.

The new mill WILL NOT have a blower on top. This is the twin turbo setup that I have been gawking about for 6 months. I got a great deal on the core, so I got it. No money right now to do any work on it, so the project waits. Speedyguy (Domestic Performance) and I have briefly spoken about the dual TB intake setup that I will be running. It should be good for about 400-450HP (AT THE CRANK...multiply by .8 to get estimated wheel HP), but we'll have to wait for the finish product to be load on the dyno for that, won't we?

Don't worry peeps, I will defend our honor with this new machine against the terrible hordes of CGP'ers that batter us with their insessant rambling and immature claims of godliness. Props to BadSSEi and his sub-12 Bonneville, but he chooses to play with them...not us. Many thanks to everyone here that has stood behind Turtle and I and the others that go veryveryvery fast. You make coming to this site a pleasure!!
The twin turbo project sounds interesting, $3000 is not alot to spend on mods for a 3800, nor will it get in 13's in a N/A GP or Bonnie, Scott Cook hasn't "chose" the GP community, he sells performance parts, and 90% of people who buy them are GP enthusiasts

I cant wait until I have my mods done in my 98 SSEI-peeps- so I too can kick some ass again, but until then I am going to come up with a mod list that looks good and a 1/4 mile time I like and when people call me on it I wont be able to reveal exactly how, or post proof besides word of mouth, Nothing personal, I just need hard evidence to believe a claim like that, and if I get it I'll eat crow and be amazed as many others would.

Ladies and Gents?

I'm sorry..are we being taken literally here..? cuz last time I checked Sol had a shuttle booster and I have the worlds fast land vehicle :P

We are just havin some fun on a Thursday night....

Sol 03-20-2003 09:07 PM

I gotta be careful with that booster. It gives a little more wheel spin than I like.

Maybe if you add a dry nitrous system you could hit light speed? I'm thinking a 3 or 4 thousand shot should do it. :)

If people wish to share their timeslips or Dyno sheets voluntarily, that's fine. This forum will NOT turn into a place where your 1/4 mile time is a competition or a reason to gain respect.

We will not put any member through the indignity of being called a liar or a bullshitter.

Do NOT ask for timeslips or dyno sheets publicly on this forum. It causes too many flames. If you wish to ask privately, then do so.....however, any member that gets harrassing PM's or emails from any other member here should report it immediately to an Admin or Moderator.

This place doesn't run like ClubGP. Those of us who are members (including myself) both here and at ClubGP need to remember that this is a different atmosphere. A month ago, if you'd asked for a timeslip, it might not have been much of an issue. However, since our recent flamer with ClubGP, this is a very sensitive issue. I can personally vouch for Comp and Turtle's numbers, and so can Hector, and perhaps some other members that remember that far back. For the time being, this will have to satisfy your curiosity.

In the short-term, Turtles new creation will once again make believers of many. Stay tuned for some interesting developments.

Please return this topic to 'gentler and kinder' direction.

Whats wrong with it???(other than maby CowBoy's post)

willwren 03-20-2003 10:53 PM

What's wrong with what? Asking for proof? Nothing was wrong with it until about a week ago, if you know what I mean.

What's wrong with it is that it historically causes flames.

Nope, not asking for proof, just wanting to understand what you were talking about because all I saw in this thread was playful joking.

I might have been missunderstood though, i was wondering what you were refering to by the "gentler" ect. comment
