I still don't understand how it'* acceptable to beat the hell out of someone in the middle of game. In any other sport you're ejected from the league. Hockey requires such a talent, but then IMO, it'* ruined by such a stupid acceptance of beating the hell out of each other.

I enjoy the game of hockey, night life wasnt the same last winter, its cool to enjoy an evening out at a local establishment and watch the Leafs play. Then I'd usually kick around and catch my Vancouver Canucks play at 1030 PM...Double Bill HNIC rules!

I'm glad hockey is back

the fights are usually the result of a player taking a cheap shot at a player.......like ramming him face first into the glass when his back is turned..........so the enforcer makes sure they dont get away with it. ala the famous lemeuix "turtle incident " lol only the real hockey fans will get the turtle part !

Simple. In Basketball/Baseball/Football when there'* a cheap hit laid on a player, they just have words, "get in their face" if you will. Hockey is one of the few sports where the players actually have the balls to throw down and try to teach the offender a lesson with a fist.

I like to play it like other sports. But as for watching somebody else play it I can take it or leave it. I did enjoy the Steelers last season though.
There are a lot of people who really care for it and I feel bad for them.
