I love guns but my money goes into either my car or computer. We have enough guns in the house for hunting and protection. M1 Carbine is one gun I would get if I could.

Not true! In most states if you buy a gun from a private person you are not required to register or make notice to any authority.

Well this is true. I meant if he bought them from a dealer. I know myself I'll have to buy from dealers because none of my friends will sell their weapons and I won't buy from a random guy.

And you can bet Gov databases are more refined everyday, and the future only points towards them redefining what guns you have the right to bear. I don't ask, don't tell, and for some time won't buy anything that requires me to put my name on anything. My wife did buy me a nice BLR .243 for light hunting 2 Christmases ago in a retail outlet. Let'* hope Repeaters don't fall into the Assault Rifle descriptions the Gov is going to sooner or later confiscate. Obama'* antigun people have a wide view of what they consider "Assault Weapon"

Wake up People!:
The Following come from Attorney General Holder'* Senate Confirmation Hearing.

During his confirmation hearing, Holder told the Senate Judiciary Committee about other gun control measures the Obama administration may consider.

"I think closing the gun show loophole, the banning of cop-killer bullets and I also think that making the assault weapons ban permanent, would be something that would be permitted under Heller," Holder said, referring to the Supreme Court ruling in Washington, D.C. v. Heller, which asserted the Second Amendment as an individual'* right to own a weapon.

Don't worry about the gun rights too much. Join the NRA and be a part of the fight for your rights. They have plenty of weight to keep dumb things from happening for awhile.

It truly scares me Mouse, the NRA hasn't much muscle in a Democratically controlled Congress that cow tows to Obama, Holder, and an agenda that'* lost it common sense. Gun Control is a pet peeve of mine.

And Ya!, God Bless the NRA and Charlton Heston. I wonder if he took a rifle to his grave?

I dunno, but I do know that the thing you cited right after Obama hit office. It also was squashed very quickly because most of Congress agreed that it would be a very dumb move. This thread is NOT for the debate of gun rights though. It is for posting what guns you care to claim you own, and what guns you want.

Thank you.
