I noticed that they are as far east as Penssylvania and west at Iowa. I thought they were just local Midwest grocers.

We've got one here in Ames (central Iowa) and one in my hometown of Muscatine (eastern Iowa).

There is not even a walmart in my new city/town.

yet there is a target, cosco, kmart, albertsons, smiths, 4 rite aids, several wallgreens, lowes, sears, TJ max, jc penny, macys, 2 ace hardwares, home depot, officemax, office depot, and most other commerical chains.

go figure.

I got my new car in Big Flats 10 days ago and remember seeing an Aldi.

There used to be one in springfield (on north grand). I don't know if there is anymore.
