Who Do Never See Digital Dashes Much Anymore?
Ok bear with me...
I've never seen fully digital gauges lately. I know it sounds weird but remember around the 90'* cadillacs and lots of cars had fully digital gauge clusters. But the last few model years I've never seen fully digital gauges on any car. I kinda likes fully digital gauges (had it on my '90 buick regal) and I was just thinking about this so does anyone out there know anything about this?

This is what I'm driving for a little while; I used to think digital dashes where cool... But not anymore, I like seeing needles on the gauges sweep for speed and boost & all that other good stuff we watch on our dashes.

My sis has a
POS lincoln continetal '98 and it has a analog looking digital dash...

I like digital dashes, but only when there'* some kind of graphical indicator to replace the sweeping needles of an analog dash.
I don't even know if that would be truly digital then. More like... the needles aren't physical, but images.
My dad'* '90-ish Cutlass Supreme was like that. Kinda neat car.
I don't care for the dashes with just a number for speed though. They annoy me.

My wife had an '89 olds cutlass with a digital dash, I hated that thing, always wanted to flicker on and off and was not worth the time and trouble to find the short...I am not a big fan of having more potential electric problems than I need....I hate wires.

i think digital gauges, and digital displays in general were one of those late 80s-early 90s fads that people realized that werent all that practical or really as cool as they initally thought.
its just like Neon, or Hair Metal
Classic needle gauges are much more accurate (if there is such a thing with OEM gauges) and much classier than digital
