any of u guys tried whey protein? its supposed to help ya build muscle mass by getting the appropriate amount of protein into ur body............

it comes as a powder, and i was ready to try my first mixing......so i read the label, mix with water milk fruit juice etc.......so i thought, hell ill try water, what could be wrong with chocolate water (the powder is chocolate flavored)

yuck............

any of u guys have any special ways of mixin this stuff? or have u even heard of it

What brand did you get? I use milk for mine. Water just isn't that good IMO. I haven't had the chocolate but I have had the strawberry (GNC "100% Whey Protein") and it'* not too bad. If you don't like the taste try adding some other ingredients. I haven't been to the gym in a while...I used to drink that all the time. I got the cheap little shaker to help mix it up well.

ya i plan to use milk from now on

but i got some body x fortress from walmart...........11 bucks compared to 40 bucks at gnc.......but the gnc is maybe better stuff, i didnt want to waste a whole lot of money to try the stuff out

Hmmm, Walmart brand...must be why. Though water isn't the best choice too. The GNC stuff is worth it if you use it a lot. But you can find the GNC whey protein new on eBay for $25. Try a multivitamin too. And some L-Glutamine.

I've mixed mine with Orange juice and half a banana. Very tastey!....
