Sorry.. i had too... umm they are just over priced Dells... I can build the same system of any of theres and pay $500-1000 less then what they sell it for.. or even cheaper then that..
Alienware: is more of just a Name and a case, there PC'* arnt any better then one that you can spec out and buidl your self from Newegg or any other good place.

Stick with newegg, mwave, or zzf. If you're savvy enough with ebay to pick up used parts (or new) you can save some moeney, just be careful.

You are right Bandit, back in the days when Alienware was the only game in town it was the setup to have but now you can just buy and build it yourself.

Thanks guys! I will continue to use Newegg. I just assumed there was some new better place. I wish Microcenter was closer than 1 hour away.

Microcenter is great! I prefer brick and mortar for hardware. Much easier to return/exchange if neccessary.
Their PowerSpec line is actually a lot better than one would think. You can get a nice BareBones from them, and build up from their. All over the shelf...
Going there this weekend for one of their OEM (now called "provate label) hard drives.

But yeah, if your rich, don't want to build one, and want a fast PC then yeah, go with them or any other high end company.. i just like to build it my self.
