Where are all of the US Transport owners?

I know there are a few of those around here...

And I have driven a couple of the sportier versions with FE2, load level and the like... It was a supprise that a Minivan could actually drive good, and keep up with the flow... I'd have one for the things I couldn't get into a Bonneville

Umm they can with 5spds... Search all the photos and go back a few pages... Did they come with sticks for export or what? A 3.8 Transport with a stick would be pretty cool!

Yeah that battery is burried... Leave it to GM to fit it in there like that...

I have a 2003 Montana Extended version with trailing package (including engine oil cooler, HD Alternator etc), dual climate control etc...

It handles surprising well though the 3.4 Liter engine is gutless, but thrifty on gas. Don't forget it'* a W-Body platform.

I only have one real complaint, the steering is too stiff (trying to give it a sporty feel), the one-centre tracking is too stiff over long drives.

All in all it'* pretty good, it has 27,000 Kms on it (bought it new) but it has to be worth a small fraction of what it cost (~35K Cdn).

Cheers,

Agreed... Got an 02 in the family... I have driven it several times and actually didn't mind it at all.. The only thing I would have like to have seen was the 3800 Parked under the hood.. would have given it a bit better driveability... Funny the cousin said the same thing... Whishing that the Montanna had the same 3800 as the Bonneville they have...lol.. It is a nice Van tho
