so im driving home from work in the lumina, taking the backroads to get to my house. about 2 miles from my house, i see a little toyota truck that must have spun out on a icy patch on the road, which caused him to slid backwards into a ditch just enough that he didnt have any traction. i, being the good guy that i am, decide im gonna help. i mean, hell, i got a hitch on the lumina, may as well use it! i slow down as i pass him, pull onto the shoulder and wait for traffic. i then pull a u-turn to go back to him. the other shoulder turns out to be a solution of 50% mud and 50% slush.. it sucks me right in.

so there i am, trying to help a fellow motorist, and im now stuck in the snow 30 ft away from him in the same situation. he just shakes his head and continues to try to get out.

not 30 seconds later another guy pulls up and asks if i need help. i tell him what i was doing and he gets a good laugh. he pulls me out by my hitch using the front of his silverado, with a trailer behind it!!! those are some driving skillz!!!!

after me, i helped him get the other guy out.. what a mess!

lol, I hear ya. Irony tends to sneak up on you in those situations....

LOL. Atleast he stopped to help everyone. Trailer none the less... damn

glad to know there are some nice people out there....this past snow I slid into a ditch with my daughter in the car, and the A$$HOLE behind me in his Ram 2500 just looked and kept going.

i thought you were gonna say you got a haro for an illegal u-turn. glad you got help and then helped the other guy. kudos to you.
