Frankly they can be nice with plenty of toys, but out of the box i can almost run with one now. If i'm picking up one, it'* for an LS1 swap... With a turbo or two...

The 94-96 Impalas were slower cause they had the caprice motor and not the camaro/firebird one, which I believe differed in aluminum heads and some other parts.
Now, a 96 SS with a 383 Stroker motor and a T56 6-spd is by no means slow... Now to build one...
