When did they discontinue the Mercury Merauder?

the new ones aent that much faster at all... a 94-96 LT-1 impala will pull an easy 14.8-15.2 1/4mile and a 7.0 0-60 depending on the driver... the aftermarket is bigger for the l67 tho i think, however, the RWD set up is much more fun and easier to work on.. I will give you the handling does suck on older b-bodys tho

well.. the 94-96 impala is topped out at 150? it will get going on the road...maybe not at takeoff though.

No i agree with it. The RWD is nice, but it'* not gonna fix the other problems.

Frankly they can be nice with plenty of toys, but out of the box i can almost run with one now. If i'm picking up one, it'* for an LS1 swap... With a turbo or two...

Not quickly enough. I hate those cars.

Seem to bring out the a-hole driver in each person that owns one. Epitome of the semi-broke mid-life crisis car.

The 94-96 Impalas were slower cause they had the caprice motor and not the camaro/firebird one, which I believe differed in aluminum heads and some other parts.

Now, a 96 SS with a 383 Stroker motor and a T56 6-spd is by no means slow... Now to build one...
