Just 'cause a car is discontinued doesn't mean it'* a collector'* item.

It didn't have enough power to compete, therefore causing it to not sell too well, causing it to get canned.

Not necessarily. They can keep on depreciating. It'll be a good 10+ years before they're anything close to a collector'* item, I feel.

slow, automatic, heavy, uncomfortable, poor steering response all come to mind from my horrific test drive awhile back. the new fwd impala ss'*(L67) are almost a full second quicker in the 1/4. hell, the aftermarket for the l67 is appraching that of the LT-1 very quickly, so dont say there'* a larger aftermarket.
