Lounge For casual talk about things unrelated to General Motors. In other words, off-topic stuff. And anything else that does not fit Section Description.

What's unusual about this SSE........?

I think the front end has been reassembled. The car is "as-is" by a dealer and auction bid only. That means they set no preconception for the value of the car and are therefore not responsible if something they would have to legally report to the customer slipped by their expertise. It also makes the customer speak first.

It'* not as mint as it looks, some solid smacks, but not bad. I need to pinch a scantool. I have one I'm going to get on ebay but it'll take another week.

I just wanted to see if anybody picked up anything on that front end.

Thanks for your help!

Oh yes, that'* just the pic. Don't read much more into to this. I have seen enough whites to know there is something going on in the front. I just needed to know if any of the helpful experts here saw a real "Hold it!". It could be as harmless as one of the owners wanted to swicth the insignia on the grill, paint the trim all white, and the grill itself black. And i genuinely knew those wheels looked familiar, but definitely wren't stock. I just didn't know what year, model, pontiac etc they came from.

Only the early ones, the 99+ have the same.
