Looks like it was designed by two separate teams of engineers that started at opposite bumpers and worked their way towards the middle, each unable to talk to the other until they met at the center doorpost.

the reason i hate the PT cruiser is not so much because of the final esult but also for what it could ahve been, the original prototype the pronto, was a sweet car, i tihnk they wer eplanning on making it a 2 seat v6 roadster, and somehow it got turned into the bastard child of a hatchback and a marshmallow
