We went from not having a trace of snow in sight to this... This wasn't even the worst of it. Much had melted through the day. I've heard figures as much as 26cm within a 8 - 10 hour span. Thank goodness it'* supposed to be 19-20 degrees this weekend

Let me guess, you are in Calgary right, or somewhere close to there. Yeppers, saw that on the news today. I am sorry sweetie, but I had to laugh I feel badly that you had a lot of snow today, but WELCOME TO OUR WORLD!!!! We still have at least 7 feet of snow on our front lawn, with no indication that it is going away, we had snow yesterday, today, and most likely tomorrow as well. At least yours will be gone in about 2 days........That is so not fair :P


Also I had to laugh because my brother, whom I love dearly lives in Calgary as well, he moved there from Kelowna BC where they rarely get snow, and he used to brag about it......Pay back is a bi*ch isn't it

It'* been in the 60s here for nearly a week, 71* tomorrow.

We've got the same crap coming through here right now.... started snowing around 3 p.m. and is supposed to dump 16 INCHES on us by the time it stops Saturday morning sometime (after the rooster crows).
Bright side is they say it'* supposed to be 70* Tuesday, but I bet we won't come close to that with all the snow.

Yup, Calgary it is. I'm just whining. Overall we've had a pretty mild winter. Most of the ugly Alberta weather has missed us. I really have no right whatsoever to complain, but I thought I would anyway Once is a while I'm able to scare up a little sympathy
