Hmmm...

I just tried breaking it on purpose (manually killing the SQL server) and it alerted me like it is supposed to.

When did you see that error, and what were you doing when you saw it?

jeff i see that error about once a month... and i remember rjolly said he could make the server crash and do that by opening 5 search windows and have them search all at the same time...

it usually happens right in the middle of something or when im loggin in... when it does that i just hang out on regal club till we are back in business
