I left out actual car-related stuff in mine...I have my owner'* manuals, a bunch of paperwork from buying the car, insurance material, my registrations from every year i've had the car...and in the trunk I have oil, antifreeze, curburetor cleaner, jumper cables, ice scraper, and a spare air filter...

i keep a screwdriver to fix my sunroof with because it opens up sometimes when i shut the car off.

Financial Statements, a tie (in the center console), an umbrella/flashlight combo, a dirty sock hanging from my mirror, a bottle of Tylenol, two child seats, an empty fire extinguisher (I really need to get that refilled), a can of anti rust spray (clear), a hard hat, and my broken sun visor (trunk).

I also have a few (useful) car related items in the trunk such as jumper cables, tool bag, parking permit, etc.
