hehehe, ya know, Doily, one of those fru-fru things women feel they must cover every flat surface with, typically found more often and in greater quantity in older ladys homes, usually with a cat sleeping on one.
I'm not a doily kind of girl I don't have anything on there.
Early in our marriage, my wife Grandmother gave her a few doilys. OK more than a few. So for a few years, we had the things EVERYWHERE. I finally asked her when we made the quantum leap from mid 20s to the our 70s without me even noticing a mid life crisis. She said she liked them cause Grandma made them but I also noticed they slowly began disappearing. Now it looks like a slightly younger people live here

On the back of ours there are handpainted roses. We just moved into a brand new house and the previous owner was a very talented artist, and she painted roses in a few places.

Refill your TP dispenser.
Haha you ever try to reach almost behind your back to grab TP while sitting? It stays off the dispenser and stays out front where it can be reached!! LOL

I have two shelves above chest level built into the wall stacked with magazines.

Road and Track, Car and Driver, Automobile, Hot Rod, MotorTrend, MacLeans, Reader'* digest, Pontiac, Shape, Chatalane, and about half dozen different Technical, Trade and Industrial Engineering magazines.

....and always a spare roll of toilet paper.
