Looks like a wedding party.

I love those kind of parties....you get to kiss complete strangers at midnight.

Better wear some rubber lips.

....well I leave in 1/2 hr for the Ferry to Vancouver Island, bags are packed, cooler stocked, warm clothes on.....brrrr, it'* 40 F and raining outside.

"The NewVI will host a huge, community-oriented New Year'* Eve bash in Nanaimo to kick off 2005, featuring: LOVERBOY, MAREN ORD, and STABILLO.

Broadcast live from Harbourfront Plaza in downtown Nanaimo on The NewVI, Cable 12 from 11pm until 12:30am.
The street party will begin at 10:30pm and end at approximately 12:30 am "

That picture there was set up for a wedding, tonight it will be a bit different, yet uber formal....antipasto at 6, dinner at 7, 4 course Italian meal, then dancing from 9 til 12, countdown, ballon drop, champagne the works. I cant be doin to much kissin of strangers tho...the missus may not like that

At any rate, Happy New Years, party safe and responsibly and get home safe afterwards

Hope you all had a great New Year'* celebration !!

The concert was a big success with over 5,000 drunks....errrr....partygoers in attendance. The weather cooperated and it didn't rain but I sure got tired standing in one spot for 4 hours not able to move.
We got a spot right up front against the rail in front of the stage. I forgot my earplugs....my ears are still ringing. :(
Maren Org was so so. Stabillo was pretty good.
LOVERBOY ROCKED.
I felt like I was back in 1983.
