actually, that exact car is sitting in my dad'* garage right now and is contemplating making it a permenant fixture for under $20k. So it is doable.

Well for 20K if your lookiing for a classic then I'd like to point you to my favorite pony car, the AMX. I prefer the 1970 vintage in blue myself but Red and Big Bad Orange is kewl too. Many of these can still be had for under 20K and in great shape too,





The 71 - 74 had a different body style too
(I had the one below but with Gold stripe instead of white which is way better imo)
