Default What time does the bank close?

Today I was at work and a little old lady and her friend were dining in. They were getting ready to leave and came to the counter to cash out. She asked me what time it was and I replied "It'* 5:55." She looked at me and said "I need to hurry and get to the bank next door. I think they close at six!" Thinking nothing more of it, I watched her walk outside and get into her car and drive away. Around five minutes later she comes back in through the door and calmly asks me "do you have a phone book so I can find a number?" I asked her what number she needed and she said she needed the number for a tow truck. I asked her if she was having car trouble and she said "I got my car a little stuck and just need some help." I got the number and she thanked me. She walked back outside. Ten minutes later I was walking out the back door to take out some trash, look over in the direction of the bank and this is what I see.....

I'm mad because I only had my camera phone, but if you can't tell that'* a green grandam suspended in the air by a 1 foot tall curb! Apparently the lady was in such a hurry to get to the bank she thought she could "jump" the curb that seperates our parking lot from the banks. I couldn't help but laugh! It was pretty hilarious and it took the tow truck driver half an hour to get the car unstuck. It looked like it was teeter-tottering.
I can only imagine what she told her friend before making a "go" of this attempt. lol.
"HOLD ON GERTRUDE THIS IS GOING TO BE A ROUGH RIDE!!"

lmao, thats great.

saw that last week as well, little different, but a guy took his truck and decided to do a u turn in the STEEP and DEEP median. I was behind him...and it was night time, so i guess it was ALMOST an honest mistake....basically had his rear wheels still on the ground, but the front was in the ditch too much for them to bring it out from just dirt., and it was only 2WD....so we threw a chain of his onto my towing hitch

Chevy saves Ford. This is a total of two occurances now where I've done this Once at a gravel boat launch with a 2WD F150 where the guy went...a little too far in , and now this.

reminds me of what one of my neighbours back in Ohio did. He was extraordinarily drunk at the time, pulled his 92ish eldorado up, kept going, and over the curb. Unfortunately, the curb was shaped like this:

The guy'* friend eventually ended up figuring out that if he sat on the hood and lowered the weight onto the drive wheels, they could back it up onto the curb and back onto the parking lot. Unfortunately, they blew the rear tires on landing.
