I have a whole bunch of computers. I'll list the basics of my primary one:

AMD 64 3800 Dual core
Abit nForce4 motherboard
2 GB DDR-400
74GB 10,000 RPM HD
120GB 7,200 RPM HD
GeForce 6800GS

I built it last March. It runs very nice.

trust me you will want it.



Hans'* offical vista requirments:


3.0 intel or 3400+ athlon or better
2GB Ram
10,000 rpm drive
256mb $100+ video card (whatever works)


Anything shy of those specs good luck vista blows. meaning you will be waiting around for stuff that you dont wait around for in XP

I got a desktop, and 3 laptops at home. All 2 ghz or under, so noone would be impressed. (The slowest is 1.8 Ghz, but still...) One laptop is Intel DualCore, but still only 2gig

But, when the QuadCores hit the market, I may finally upgrade my desktop

I have no use for terrabyte....i have used 40gb for about 1.5 year and has been just fine
