Default What software is good for converting avi to dvd format?

I have a couple of avi files that I would like to turn into full blown dvds. I have used some software before that does that, but the video and audio playback was plagued with sync. issues. Is there a program that you guys recomend?

One I use that is VERY easy to use with a VERY lame name is DVDSanta. Just do a google for it. It puts a watermark with the program name on it, until you register it........

I've got Cyberlinks PowerDVD tha came with my newest burner. I've used several times to turn avi'* from my camera into dvds and haven't seen any synch issues. You can also add/create slideshow dvd'*. It has basic menus and no real avi editing features thou.
