Yeah, I agree you can't blame the girlfriend for anything except blaming you (okay, did that make sense?). She had every right to be at that party, especially since she probably runs in the same groups as you and her boyfriend do-the chances were pretty good that that would happen. It'* not your fault, you can't a conscience for everyone. I might have said something to the friend like "don't you realize what you are doing?", but I don't think you should have been expected to do so. Maybe you only fault is hanging out with a guy who would do that to his girlfriends, but no friend is perfect-since no person is perfect.
My advice (since some know I always have some ): Mostly what some others have said. Let things settle the way they will, in the end if the girlfriend can't realize that you didn't do anything wrong-if she can't see that, then she isn't all that mature and is probably trying to blame everyone except her boyfriend.

It'* not your relationship, it'* not your business. If she can't pick em right, that'* her fault.

Leave it to a guy to sum up good advice in two sentences. It would have taken me a few paragraphs to get to that.

Yech, I've been stuck in those situations before.... Just let things settle down, and tell em' what happened and how you feel about it is the best way, at least that'* what I did and it worked.

The guys girlfriend is entitled to go to a party with a group of friends just because her so called boyfriend isn't with her.
Yea, "friends", riiiiiight. Especially at a party. I hate it when the blame is put all on the guy and the girl comes off scott free. Yea, it was bad what he did, but other questions need to be answerd also.
when ya gonna learn twist, EVERYTHING is the guys fault,..women DO nuthin wrong! lol.

Gee, Sizzle- women do stuff wrong all the time. In this particular incident however she was innocent. His friends just hopefully know how to forgive and not hold grudges.

You didnt offend anyone. I was basing the assumption that she was innocent from Killers own remarks.

as i said,..killers VERSION! and i was agreeing w/ twister 97'* comments! as i said before, 2 sides to every story, and when we judge a person, unless we KNOW all the facts,..not just a VERSION, then it'* hard to declare a innocent, or a guilty party!
