Yep, it'* a 5 speed. She loves her sticks. That'* why she is hesitant about a GM cause they don't offer a reliable 5 speed. Told her she could get a 5 speed rice burner for the winter if she wanted a stick....

Okay, why does it always take me so long to get to cool theads (...maybe because I don't get out of the lounge much?...).

But anyways, welcome to the club Allison. Always good to have a chica around. I love your car. One of my friends also is running a lowered Eclipse and I definatly think they are one of the coolest cars out there (sorry, boys, don't kill me ).

Acutally I perfer my car not to break. So its not, but its a 4g64 2.4L not the chrysler 420a - 2.0L that comes in most non turbo eclipses. The 4g64 has quite a bit more Hp and lots more torque than a 420al, it also the desirable motor to build because its stronger than a 4g63( what comes in GST and GSX). I actually bought the car with one intention and that was to turbo it ( the bold patterns of the 63 and 64 are the same therefore the turbo set up pretty much bolts up) The car would be a easy mid 12'*. Than I decided that I wanted to stay away from the infamous CRANKWALK, and keep it non turbo. My plans for this year if I keep it is a complete suspension upgrade, struts/springs/sway bars/ etc. for the sole purpose of autox.

Edit: The 4g64 comes in the Spyder GS and Galant *.

I tend to know my car inside and out, Im not going to drive something and know nothing about it. I used to be big into GM, older stuff though, new stuff Im just lost on.

My dream car is a 1972 Chevelle SS w/ a 454.

lol Bill which part?
