I can't believe that I was on hold for 15 minutes with COMPAQ listening to the same boring music and some lady saying thanx for calling compaw and then she started saying other stuff because my mind was on other things and then I here that I was going to be connected to a technical support opperator. I hear her voice for like a nano second then I am on hold again. 1 minute later the computer lady say "Sorry, your call can't be completed at this time, please try again later." What the hell was this?

I got nailed on monday with that damn virus, not sure where it came from but I was on dial up for F%&@ sake. I was ready to throw this damn laptop out the window. Then last night I couldn't get an outside line ( not at home ) then finally tonight I was able to get online long enough to find a bit of info on it. I coulnt' even download the patches cause it would shut the laptop down all the time. I went out a bought Norton ( I have pro version at home, about 5 hours away, and I am on the road with this laptop on dial up.)

Well I had enough time to type this reply and still going. I think I ma finally gaining ground, ( I hope )

Seems like this MSBLAST.exe virus is a real pain in the a$$. I had to run the fix 2-3 times and going to do it again.

Let'* hope that this is over with for now.
