I bet the flooring was a biotch? I should know, I put one down in my parents' room. God what a PITA.

It actually was the dining room / den area. The living room is on the other side of the house. It was pretty stupid, there was carpet in the dining room

The flooring was actually VERY easy to do. It is a laminate flooring from The Home Depot. cost about $650 for around 300 sq. ft. including the pad underneath it. Only took about 8 - 10 hours overall to have it all done, except trim of course.


There was a small wall about two feet long that seperated the two rooms, but we removed that stupid little wall and made it one large room that looks much better then before.

That'* some beautiful work, Ryan. That stove oughtta make things nice and cozy in there.
Did you do any re-insulating while you had the outside wall open?
