What happens if you put an airplane on a very big treadmill?

A box truck loaded with canaries and cages weighs EXACTLY 5000 pounds.
Specially with your understanding of thrust

i tried to post from my cell phone last night at like 2 am...didn't work...but here'* my thing:
the world is spinning from west to east at a bazillion miles per hour. that would make the earth one giant treadmill...yet planes take off from east to west all the time. hmmm...now i'm confusing myself.

Yes, the plane would fly
I didn't read any other post because i would get mad.
We had a big argument about this at new years. The plane would fly because its not the wheels that are moving the plane.. its the jets. I am right and whoever said no is wrong... Just admit it.

I hate to say it but there are a lot of stupids here. BTW the truck will weigh less if the birds were in the air. The cages weight would still be there tho.
