Default Can someone help me fix my pc?

I neeed the best here but if I have to pay then I will have to wait to fix it. I like using my Windows XP computer. Its a compaq persario. I use internet explorer 6. I cant download a whole lot of things on here because i get a message saying that this whatever may cause wirusus, but if i download anyway, like YIM, it says that it has errors in it and the download isnt complete. So i have to use YIM Beta, only having some feature to chat and not all, same with upgrading my computer with the messeage update or something. Then I always have this message saying that I have virtual low memory. I wish I can get this thing fixed. Every since we had that big crash last year, my computer hasnt been the same and I always get annoying pop ups and sometimes the compter is slow or it just cuts off.

I can fix some of the stuff.. but its kinda complicated to explain. There are some multiple things that could be the culprit of those. I can do this myself though.. however, since I don't have desktop access, the next best thing will work. RealVNC, which is a desktop sharing app. Would you mind me having control over your system? You can uninstall this software once i'm done, so nobody can connect to your system like this again. If you have a router, there is a little bit of port forwarding you will need to do, but it'* simple stuff, and you can also disable that later on too.

just use Virtual PC or Remote Desktop Assitance. If you both have Windows XP and he has XP pro it'll work fine.

Err maybe try this. Put the Windows cd in the cdrom, go to Start-Run and put: sfc /scannow and it'll go through and make sure all your system files are how they should be. Just a thought

how fast is your internet connection? using remote assistance someone can take control of yoru computer while you watch everything they do and try to fix it for you.. You just need a fast internet connection and turn off windows firewall and invite the person to help you.
