all I have to say is that writing a letter/poem is really hard
although I am sure that is mostly to do with my lack of skills at expressing emotion.
Thanks for all the suggestions/help everyone, I really do appreciate it.

Probably a little late to this party but anyway
Passed the two-month mark with my g/f last weekend. lol it'* only a matter of time til I **** it up but anyway... I got her a dozen roses, half pink half white- her favorite flower and colors. Lest you think I went overboard with $$, I work at a store when I'm not substitute teaching, and the bouquet cost less than $10. We have a good florist though, so $10 roses look like they cost a lot more...
Teddy bear is a good idea, basically anything that shows you remember and cared enough to mark the occasion. I don't live 6 hrs from my g/f, but we really only get to see each other on the weekends- maybe once or twice during the week- because of our work schedules. On a smaller scale, I know where you're coming from on time/distance.

When me and my gfs relationship was fresh, sometimes I would come home with $3 worth of cheap flowers from Wal Mart, and she would just be happy that I thought of her. You don't have to spend a lot of money to make them happy just let her know you're thinking of her (that can be done with a sappy *** greeting card).
