I still use Kazza Lite even though I haven't downloaded in awhile. They don't have it available for download on the website anymore but I can hook you up with the install file. Otherwise try here:

winmx...unknown by a lot of people, but has just the same amount of songs for download as Kazaa does. kind of an old program, probably from the napster days. downloads.com has it available.

Piolet for me, there is only music to share and I have kids. Plus I find the selection is good and the download speed is fair.

well i use a Mac i used to use Hotline, which is probably alot different than anything like Kazaa. servers require a membership, which you get by uploading requested abums, paypal or sometimes clicking on their banner. i'm really into underground indie rock, and there are alot of servers with hundreds and hundreds of albums to a server. corrupt files aren't an issue, and all music is sorted and high quality. most everything i download or upload for that matter was 192kbps.
