- Phase out Saturn (I dont like it)
- put more money into R&D (when was the last time they had a major innovation? the HUD?)
- Bring back the F-body (somethings gotta keep those rustangs and ricers in line!)
As a GM employee & a Performance NUT, I can say GM in general is now trying to regather it'* lost market share to the Import Market!
The Saturn is actually a very great car! it'* cheap price & reliability make it so just about ANYONE can afford to drive one! Now with it'* 2.2 Ecotec engine like the Sunfires & Opel Speedsters in Europe!

As to Question of What I would do?
Well for starters, I would start on better getting back the lost market share! I would do this by first R&D'ng more RWD versions of cars! This way the Police Forces in North America wouldn't have to drive FORDS any longer!
The next thing I'd do is try & get the Canadian Government to loosen it'* grip on the "Emission Standards" for it'* cars that allowed to be driven on the streets of Canada.

What they really need is cars that are easier to work on. They make things as entire units which makes me have to go to the Dealership to get stuff. I hate that. I could easily afford a brand new car, But I hate my local dealership and definatly don't want to have to go back there to get things fixed. Infact, I haven't ever used the High Beams on the 93 because the sitch is broken and I hate that dealership....

Here'* my thoughts:

the SSR sucks, lose it for the fbody
dont ditch the cavalier, i see more cavys per sq mile than any other vehicle
the new malibu is butt ugly, do something about that
like i said before, i still think the GXP is a step in the wrong direction
navigation availiable on any model
give me a C6 for free

I'd try to hybridize the 96-99 Bonneville body style with the new one. I like the older one so much better but I agree that it needs to lose some of the plastic body cladding. (Keep the lil' spoiler tho)

And I'd put all wheel drive in all of the cars, put V8'* in all of the Bonnes, and last but not least, take home a customized B-ville GXP for myself

I forgot something: manual tranny options on the sport models. That would make the GXP 10x better. I like the fact that they are making a 3900, they need some new tech coming into the place. I say put some of those big truck engines in cars too. Seems like they spend too much time and $$$ on their trucks and not enough on their cars.

yea, but when lots of highend trucks/suvs sell for 50k-60k cdn it sorta makes sense to put a little time and effort into them.

Maybe not less computers, but less "RESTRICTIVE" computers or maybe ones that can be owner programmed for driver preference.
