Sounds like you clicked on the wrong link. I know there is a direct download link because I just used it this morning

Well I was trying the free version of limewire.....and couldn't get one song to d/l.....Dug around a bit and found a site with the Limewire Turbo program ( the one they want you to buy) and it'* been working great.

Also d/l'd fast torrent last night, but have no clue how to use it lol

Newsgroups are the way to go. Super fast compared to torrents etc. I use a program called Newsbin pro and it works like magic.

I found that my ISP "throttles" subscribers who use limewire so,I switched to ARES. It handles everything that is needed to get it up and running,even the firewalls on routers I swear by it

My ISP eventually throttles everything but newsgroups which is the reason I use them. Being called newgroups throws people off since people use it mostly to swap music and files lol
