Just take it with you and work on the paper, waiting to the last minute can be tricky because you don't know when life will through something at you. If not finish it, at least complete half of it. Plus IMO, it'* better to take a couple days to write a solid great paper rather than rush and do a crappy one

Leave it home. Go enjoy camping. Odds are, you already know the material and the paper should be a snap, so the time off will not make a difference. If you don;t know it by know, you're screwed anyway, so go have fun. Besides, if you go camping and work, she just might be a tad upset. It'* all about balance baby.

Before you go on your camping trip, put aside an hour and gather info on your topic. Allot of info and then you will feel comfortable enough to just come home after camping and pound it out...
