I drive quite a ways for work, so I see some strange things. But yesterday, I saw a ton of annoying things. In fact, probably my most headache inducing drive to work to date.

I left town here, and got stuck behind a port-a-potty truck. Yeah, that was obviously not a good sign. Crap really can slow you down. That set the tone for the whole trip.
Ditched that truck and took a back road. Caught the main road just in time to be behind a couple dump trucks.

Got rid of the dump trucks when I turned off. Nice bit of road for about 3 miles. Then I take this short cut road. I get to almost where I meet the next main road, and suddenly get stopped by 1/2 of a double wide in the middle of the road. No warning, no signs, nothing. So I'm looking to try and get around this thing, and no people around to wave me by. The other side of this monster is a hill, so I can't see anything coming in my direction. I almost get my nose bit off, so I turn around, go back down to the other main road, take it into the next town, also stuck doing 40 behind a fuel tanker truck, and join the main road there.

Taking that road, I end up going past where this double wide was being put in, and there are construction trucks and a large 4 axle crane taking up the road. So, now the crane is moving down the road, and I'm stuck behind him. Again, on a twisty road with hills. Guy can't wave me past, or anything. I try to stick my nose out into the other lane, almost get clipped twice. I finally make a break for it and get around him.

I join up to the main road, and just before I get to work, they have it down to one lane for about 1/4 mile.

For a trip that normally takes me 45 minutes on a good day, I was 20 minutes late to work.
