i pay about 700 a month for a 3 bed 1 bath that will become a 1.75 bath when i get some time and money and a 24x32 garage and a fenced yard and then i pay about 180 for gas electric and water sewer and trash. then i have cable and internet at about 110 a month then insurance a month is 80 bucks for the homeowner for almost double the estimated value of the house. The house is about 2400 sq ft but the gas and electric bill will go down next year when i upgrade the windows

Just MAKE SURE you can afford it and have the security to continue to afford it.one of the worst feelings in the world is being thrown out of where you live

Indianapolis is suppose to be the most affordable major metropolitan area. A 2 bedroom apartment should be around $600/month. A friend of mine on the northwest side of Indy pays $440/month.

My house is 1500sq. and then I have a 4 car garage on a half a city lot with a fenced in back yard. Mortage, insurance, and property tax escrowed together $440/month.

wow nice deal. shes looking at alot of labs in indy but i really wanna work in the mill and that 3 hour commute will easily turn into 6 in the winter. and as for getting kicked out, i refuse to move till shes making what she does now or better. for that reason. and the mills wont pay for me to drive up and interview so the first month or so will be on her salary. and at the very least, if we were hurting for money in the midwest there is always yard work. there for awhile i was making $150/day working 5 hour days. in spring/summer theres grass and garden work in the fall leaves and in the winter theres snow and if you have a garage for some reason people always want their cars detailed in the middle of winter.

I had been advertising detailing 50 and under for detailing cars all year round and people either think thats wayy too expensive or their other excuse is that its winter. I just say well have a good time cleaning your car yourself in the winter, or paying 150+ at a professional shop.

LOL! No, I put down 0% and closing cost was paid for by the sellers. That was 5 1/2 years and that'* when banks handed out a lot of bad loans. So in a way, I'm one of those people, but was able to pay my payments.
